Post: HELP geting error code 8002F157 when trying to update to CFW REBUG 4.76.1 LITE

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); So when am trying to update from the 3.55 rogero downgrader to REBUG 4.76.1 LITE CFW it gives me the error code "the data is corrupted. (8002F157)" the md5 hashes where correct too.

I dont know what to do help :,(

I had this before, i had to re-install multiple times for it to go through.

also re-add the cfw on your usb and perhaps re-format it?


i tryed every thing u said and still dosent work i re-installed like 4 times

Verify the usb flash drive is in the furthest right most port of the ps3.
Verify the folder structure is:
Fat32formattedusbflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

Done it all still the same ERROR

--Is your disc drive logic board intact?(is the disc drive installed)

usually this is caused on the usb side of things so I would just double check everything there and make sure the flash drive you are using is compatible with fat32 and not force formatted, in the right most port, etc.
Also I don't know if you tried the QA flag pkg i provided, but make sure to try that and not just rely on rebug toolbox because it doesn't actually qa flag your console..

I would also try to install multiple different firmwares, such as:

then try some of these:

You must login or register to view this content.

You must login or register to view this content.

If you can get to one of those, you should be fine.
