Also, games like Black Ops 2 have Antiban EBOOTs while other games do not, like GTA 5. So, I would check to make sure that the game you are trying to play has an Antiban EBOOT first.

EBOOTs are just files that are required in order for the game to run. Modified EBOOTs can have Antiban, Non-host mods, etc. You can simply download one that corresponds with your region code and overwrite it via FTP. Most games don't have modified EBOOTs though... For GTA 5, you are required to use the EBOOT the SPRX provides or it will not function correctly as the EBOOT is the file that launches the SPRX, and without it, you wouldn't be able to use it.

another question that just come in my mind, are there any possibility that OFW will overwrite my CFW once i go online (or login PSN) ? if it is possible, how to lock firmware to avoid auto upgrade or accidental upgrade ? just incase i do some mistakes.

If you have spoofer, or seneabler, you will not be prompted for firmware update. If you are prompted tor firmware update when attempting to run a game, back out immediately and patch the game using Multiman and/or PSNpatch.

@Frosty , i've been trying to play PVZ garden warfare online (with psninja and psnpatch) and this message pop up "The latest data has been found. The system will quit this software and start installing. Version 1.02" (not sure about the version number, but it must be 1.0x, i forgot).
is it only game update or fw update included ? im afraid to download and instal the update so i decided to go back. is it safe to download and instal ?

about firmware, i have another question for it. here is a scenario,
- i have ps3 with rebug cobra 4.78.2 REX in it (at the moment)
- i successfully convert it from CEX to DEX
- using it to play game as usual
- SONY releasing new OFW (lets say 4.80)
- rebug team releasing their update (4.80 REX and 4.80 D-REX)

in this situation which one should i install to my ps3 ? REX (because of my original system) or D-REX (because already converted it to DEX)
