How do you go dex from cec without rebug rex,,, or should i just go with rex,,, will the files in post above work with rebug

Cex to dex, i said it backwards

You install Rebug Toolbox from the "install packages" option in XMB menu (main menu).
Then you go into the program, and go to the last column, and look for the option "dump eid root key", (your ps3 will restart).
Then you go back into the program, and go to the 4th column and choose, "Change Target ID Type" once done, you will be prompted to reboot. You are now on DEX.
Make sure you check in Rebug Toolbox - System Information. Target Type and Level 2 Kernel are set to DEX for the functions to fully work.

Always make sure to disable internet connection after use when you are about to shutdown your ps3. And you will need to use webman for DEX to set your IDPS (psn ID) and CID (console ID), as SEN Enabler is only stable with CEX.

I got all that already ty but i just screwed up, i was trying to add mod menu with filezilla, i changed a file in bless80608 folder instead of blus31156 (this was the only folder that had a previous update file in it,) i didn't save other file i over wrote it.

just reinstalled
now I get online bymyself, says incompatible assets when trying to get with others, something about the mod menu I think, researching again

This is caused from using an "update.rpf" file that is not bypassed to play with others.
