Go to System Update and Update via Storage Media. Do not worry, the update will fail. But when it does, it will tell you to Insert a file update above *firmware x.xx*. That is your minimum firmware.

all 2501A/B's are under 3.56 so your fine. it should be around 3.50 but if it is 3.56 you'll need to jailbreak it via nofsm an wont be able to toggle q/a. if its goes to anything under 3.56 youll be able to toggle q/a if you need any help feel free to add my skype

lol i can assure you all 2501A/Bs are able to be. the 2504s are the ones you have to watch out for.. ive done over 500 consoles an never encountered a single 2501A/B minimum be above 3.56 neither has my other 5 buddies

I do not have the computer right now to download the files I need and extract them or upload them on slow windows but I have android devices and a flash drive that takes mini SD cards to transfer the files to the slow pc I have if it will work idk I also have a 16gb SD mini to put that out there
