(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); is there a difference if you mod the downloaded game through psn vs buying the disc? not sure if this makes sense.

There is no need to buy games on a CFW. You can download the game online for free and put it on the Internal HDD. And, buying the disc gives you a BLUS/BLES region code which is where most modified files are made for rather than NPUB/NPEB which is what PSN uses and not many files are made for that.

Makes sense. However, there's no difference... Why? Since, you're still modding the game. Also keep in mind, that's possibly the main reason as to why people get a CFW PS3. In order to pirate games over. Also, don't buy anything from the Playstation store since if you get banned your screwed. Since, the Playstation (PSN) account will be banned along with everything else.
