Idk how that's going to work..If you insert a new hdd into a ps3, it will require a format..You will have to improvise or try a software/hardware to attempt to make this happen(if even possible). Although, I have never actually seen/heard of this myself (full data transfer) actually being done successfully, on ps3(not saying it can't be done)..save games/music/pictures and maybe even dlc, etc is another story.

Here is an example of pc hdd cloning

Maybe these help as well

Did you get the entire hdd copied? The dlc and activation files would have been within the old hdd.

Also, I'm just guessing, but maybe you need to sign in and activate the account..

okay I will try that as soon as I'm able to sign in it keeps timing out on me that could be the problem idk though.. but I am really lost okay I have 3 hard drives the external holds my games i did not change any files or touch my external game drive but when i swap to my new hard drive the one i just formatted it loads up BLUS01807 right all good and normal but when i installed it like u have to do for every new hard drive it saves install and content files as BLUS31156 it still plays it which i don't know how but it does so i swapped back 2 my old hard drive the one i was using and i was able to delete and reinstall BLUS 01807 install and content packages i am completely lost ive narrowed it down to my new hard drive being wrong lol not much ik

well I made fresh copy of BLUS01807 apparently my old was corrupting still claims status error Dg not sure what that is its always filed on my external hard drive never paid attention to it but it had gotten worst now I will see if replacing BLUS01807 will work hope for the best
