Post: Help with ps3 semi brick!

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I was on 4.75.2 Rebug DEX,I was trying to switch back to CEX for a little. So my lvl 2 kernel was CEX and my target type was DEX, after i clicked "swap target type" under switch kernel. my ps3 then reboots into this

so i tried many different PUPs and even downgrader PUPs and nothing worked(i dont want to use an OFW PUP cause i dont wanna lose my cfw and cant afford another cfw) i tried doing it many times and on "preparing to update, it goes fast then when it hits 89% it starts of very slow then when it hits 98% it stays stuck forever. please any help will be very appreciated guys thank you :(

about 10-15 minutes stuck on 98 :( and i was using rebug 4.75 rex pup and rebug 999 downgrader pup rex :( i know for a fact my ps3 is on full cex mode right now i just dont know what to do :( im really scared that my ps3 might be done for idk.. this is a DEX to CEX semi brick i guess you would call it.
edit: how do i provide a picture ive taken of the screen on here

yeah 10-15 mins is to long,
if u think it made it to cex: install 4.75 rex
if u think its dex: install 4.75 D-rex

it will take one of the 2. if not, check usb folder structure/format ect.....

when i insert dex pups, it says no applicable data was found, when i put rex/cex pups it gets stuck at 98% idk what to do

re download 4.75 rex
re format the usb
copy it back to usb and try it

note: yes u did make it to cex, ie: its asking for 4.75 or higher. if u were still dex it would ask for your base fw or higher

But when I reinstall rex rebug, it gets stuck on 98% see picture? :(

you re downloaded it & and reformatted the usb
if so
try it in recovery mode
