well if the 4.80 ofw installed and it booted up to the xmb on 4.80 ofw. you will indeed need to re jailbreak it.

Doesn't work like that, you cannot install CFW over ofw. Only way is to downgrade. This guy fucked up.

yes it does if completely installed the 4.80 ofw then yes he would actually only need to install rogero 3.55

You must be a major noob, first off you cannot install an older FW unless on CFW. Secondly, you cannot install cfw over ofw unless he was already on 3.55. Doing so will result in the update not being read or an error. Btw quote me next time

Well how am I a noob I literally jailbreak PS3s once you read the nor chip and write back to it it's done you don't need to do anything to it anymore it can run any fw when you downgrade a PS3 it's going from 4.78 to 3.55 with one file as long as the nor is flashed your fine you can install rogero 3.55 then toggle QA then rogero v3.7 then rebug Rex or whatever I do this for money I know what I'm talking about
