(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I'll make this as short and sweet as I can. I recently converted to Rebug 4.78.2 D-REX. When I was back on Habib running CEX, I had no issues running CCAPI 2.60. Once I converted to DEX however, I cannot get CCAPI to connect. I did a little digging and found that CCAPI 2.60 isn't compatible with Rebug 4.78, so I decided to try out CCAPI 2.70(even though most tools won't work on 2.70). Still having the same issues where I can't connect CCAPI to the console. Again, I never had these issues before with CEX, was just wondering if anyone might have any suggestions as to what is going on and how I might fix it? I am currently ticking with GTA 5 as I don't need to RTM with it, just nee a good menu. I would lie to get CCAPI up and running so I can stat playing the various CODs again though...

PS-yes I know I should be running TMAPI with DEX anyway, but honestly I just went through a week or more long ordeal getting GTA 5 to run correctly and for now, I don't really want to fuck around learning how to use TMAPI just yet. I will of course eventually do so, but for now I am putting it off.

Someone mentioned in a different post, that there are specific debug settings to use for CCAPI? I know that is the case with TMAPI, but wasn't are of it being the case with CCAPI. This could very well be my issue, as I haven't touched my debug settings since I converted...or ever for that matter.

Once again, Dog88Christian to the rescue! I completely uninstalled all CCAPI programs from my PC(had already done so on PS3) Then I installed 2.70 on PC and PS3. Connected like a charm. I think what was going on, is that my PC was still running 2.60 while trying to connect to 2.70 on the PS3. If I remember correctly, there was some kind of error when I first tried to install on the PC a couple weeks ago and by the sounds of it, 2.60 was never fully deleted. But in any case, I'm up and running on 2.70. Now all I gotta do is figure out how to make tools for 2.60 work with 2.70, specifically Kryptus's GTA 5 recovery menu. He informed me in his thread that all I should need to do is replace the 2.70 PS3Lib with the 2.60 one. Sound about right? I had heard I needed to replace the .dll or something?...

Glad to hear it's working for you now. And I'm pretty positive there aren't specific settings for CCAPI. But as far as tools working and such yes you need to replace both the PS3LIB.dll and CCAPI.dll with 2.7. If you don't have the correct ones let me know, I'll grab the link for you Smile

Glad I could get the Ccapi sorted.
