Post: How to get EID without a blueray drive?

im stuck on dex without a blueray drive
cannot open any homebrew without it therefore I cannot dump eid to remarry another
Any suggestions? I've tried going to a non bd dex firmware to see if homebrew opens then but no still not working.
was wondering if there is a way to grab it through target manager or anything like that.

Im pretty sure the eid stays there basically forever after you dump it. You cannot normally open apps on a downgrader. With the above you are able to install any cfw of your choice. So dump it on a downgrader, then go to another firmware so you can ftp and get it out of the toolbox directory (or wherever it saves).

Sorry about that. Its the same idea but I don't have or know of a nobd 3.55 dex downgrader...you may try looking into that. Although it should let you do the quick cextodex method on the higher rebug firmwares I don't see why it wouldn't..
If you are using a nobd bypass firmware, it should allow you to use apps.. Maybe try to reinstall the toolbox if you haven't already?

I cannot get into any homebrew (example TOOLBOX) without a married drive. therefore I cannot just easily dump the eid like usual or use any pkg to do it

Goto debug settings and change the bd drive to usb! i used to use that.

If you were on CEX you would be able to bypass that and you would be able to, but like I said I don't have or know of a DEX downgrader with the necessary bypasses to do that..
but if you manage to find DEX firmware with bypasses for nobd and apps you will most likely find your eid still stored on the console and can do the simple CEXtoDEX or DEXtoCEX method using the toolbox..

And that way you're able to open apps/rebug toolbox? but like he said, he can't open rebug toolbox and those debug settings probably not enabled. Downgrading back to 3.55 or using a PSP the only option left I guess?
Oh, never mind it worked for him but I'm thinking that if those debug settings weren't enabled the console would've been qa flagged and able to downgrade, no?

You were able to enter to rebug toolbox I guess, no? but I'm curious to know if you had the debug settings enabled before via the toolbox. And I though it didn't matter using DEX to re-marry BR Drive.

I couldnt get into toolbox without Blueray Drive Acess being (USB)
Believe it or not I still use the psp method to get into fsm and remarry xD always done it on cex
