To install any CFW all you'd need was a USB yes. Now, Rebug and ITA are very similar, not really a "better" one as that's opinion. For you, I'd probably suggest just a Rebug, as Dro said 4.75 is good and stable as I'm using it myself. and make sure you quote us.
