Its possible something else could have happened, not update related..

Was your target type on DEX before you attempted to install it? Or did you try to update straight to a DEX firmware from CEX?

Can you get into recovery mode?
If so, install one of these, one or either of them should work

You must login or register to view this content.
Then install a (CEX) firmware of your choice

OR

You must login or register to view this content.[DOWNGRADER+DEX].PUP
Then install a (DEX) firmware of your choice.

Make sure you quote us back so we see you replied. If it was update related then you should still be able to go into Safe Mode, if not and can't get system to turn on then it may be bricked.

You should try another known working hdd. If you still can't get into recovery after that, you may have ylod/glod/rlod, or may need to reflash the console. Although, those type of bricks are not usually caused by updating, whether you minded the region or not..

tbh i cant be bothered with it no more.. but i also have a slim 120gb cfw and every time i turn it on its asking for 9.99 software. i have tried loads and loads of different 999 down-graders but gives me data corrupt when trying to install it from recovery mode. i cant try from xmb because wont boot into xmb every time it is asking for 9.99

any solution on this to fix it

You need to quote us as I said before! As Dro said try another HDD, same thing with this other system. If no downgraders work then try another HDD.
