tbh i cant be bothered with it no more.. but i also have a slim 120gb cfw and every time i turn it on its asking for 9.99 software. i have tried loads and loads of different 999 down-graders but gives me data corrupt when trying to install it from recovery mode. i cant try from xmb because wont boot into xmb every time it is asking for 9.99

any solution on this to fix it

If your ps3 is asking for 9.99 then the last thing it had installed was most likely rogero 3.55 downgrader

You can install You must login or register to view this content.

Verify your folder structure when installing the update

Fat32formattedusbflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

Also, use the furthest right most usb port of the ps3.

If it's not working just keep trying or verify file size of the update, try another known working usb flash drive.., etc

Let us know how it goes.
