Why did you get a jailbroken PS3 if you know nothing about it?

You should learn about modding and stuff before just buying it and then once having it being completely lost like right now.

What you need is ARCH Spoofer for the latest update which is 4.80.

Once you have that on your usb plug it into your ps3 and install it through package installer and then run it and spoof to 4.80.

Ok one you don't have to be a ass two I did do alot of reaching about it and did a lot of reading I didn't know if I needed to go through multiman or not or through the extra tool settings or what but thanks

I'm sorry for being a dick!! But you know its really frustrating when you do so much research in to this and noone can really help you then you decide to go with all new mods and everything and you can't get the help then you research more and don't find anything so I gave up for three weeks then decided to try to fix it again I've already been up for 38hours now doing research after research and here I am asking for just a lil help

Apparently you didnt do much research because all you need to do is spoof to 4.80 with ARCH.

Go to system settings>system information and let us know the firmware version. I don't think the latest arch spoofer is compatible with all firmwares, so you will need to be on a more recent one.

To install an update to a cfw ps3:
1. Download the cfw you want to install
2. Rename the file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" (no quotes)
3. On the root of a fat32 formatted usb flash drive, create a folder named "PS3"
4. Inside the "PS3" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE"
5. Inside the "PS3" folder, place your "PS3UPDAT.PUP"

folder structure should be:
fat32formattedflashdriveroot/PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP

6. Install the usb flash drive into the rightmost usb port of the ps3
7. Boot ps3 into recovery (alt. go to XMB, top of second column from the left)
8. Select option "Update System" (select from usb device)
9. Follow prompt and install


You can then put arch spoofer .pkg file on the root of your flash drive and install it to the ps3

Then from the xmb, run arch spoofer. When it's finished you can go to system settings>system information and your firmware version should match that of SONY's current official firmware, which is currently 4.80.


As long as you are not banned( valid CID ) you are then free to sign in.

You can spoof your CID with ccapi or use PSNpatch, if you wish..



You can select your game from multiman, then you will be brought to the xmb, where you can then scroll up to APP_home and start the game.
