(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi

I have two hardisk 250GB and 320GB both internal
the 250GB works with my system great no problem at all

but the 320GB, when I plugged it, it gives me this message:
the system storage cannot be accessed
I try to Rebulid database but it's not possible same message

I'm 4.76 DEX but not sure which version it is, it shows it like this in rebug toolbox...
and the 320GB hardisk works good when I connect it to my PC

1. Install the hdd into the ps3
2. Boot the ps3 into recovery mode
3. Select option "restore Ps3 system"
This should reformat your new hdd to the ps3
it will wipe everything, games, saves, accounts, etc
When it is finished you will be brought to a black screen asking for your last syscall(last cfw installed)
4. Install a downgrader or reinstall your cfw

Hopefully that works for you

Alternatively you can try to format the hdd to fat32 on your PC, then install it to the ps3 and you should be brought to a black screen prompt mandatory format of the hdd to the ps3.

GL! Let us know how it goes.

Now it shows screen with:
Connect the controller using a USB cable, and then press the PS button.
Then:
The system software cannot be run correctly. Press the PS button to try to restart the system.
If the system cannot be restarted, you must reinstall the system software.
Connect storage media that contains update data of version 3.40 or later, and then press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time.
For information on how to obtain update data, refer to the SCE Web site for your region.

what should I do?

If the system cannot be restarted, you must reinstall the system software.
Connect storage media that contains update data of version 3.40 or later, and then press the START and SELECT buttons at the same time.
For information on how to obtain update data, refer to the SCE Web site for your region.

When you get that screen that is where you can reinstall your cfw.

To install an update:
1. Download the cfw you want to install or you can start on this downgrader You must login or register to view this content.
2. Rename the file to "PS3UPDAT.PUP" (no quotes)
3. On the root of a fat32 formatted usb flash drive, create a folder named "PS3"
4. Inside the "PS3" folder, create a folder named "UPDATE"
5. Inside the "UPDATE" folder, place your "PS3UPDAT.PUP" file
6. Insert the usb into the rightmost usb port of the ps3

Press start and select to follow prompt.

Ok thanks works perfectaly..

Now I can Install REBUG 4.78.2 D-REX directaly right? withoud doing any toogleqa or other things?

For ppl who reads, I was on 4.76 DEX and I downgrade to 3.55 DEX, Don't try to install 3.55 CEX because I try it and it gives: No Applicable update data was found and possibly it could brick your system

If you had QA Toggled before then yes if not you'll have to toggle it before.

You need to swap your lv2 in 4th section. Only then will you be officially on DEX.
