Anyways im now trying to install a 3.55 rebug cfw and it tells me the data is corrupt, error code 80029CCA. I have tried to install many different cfw's and I am still getting this error code. Someone please help me!

Did you covert to DEX yourself? If not then you can ask the person you got the PS3 from to send you the files.

Or you could try reinstalling the Rebug Downgrader twice (to make sure it's dehashed) then install a 3.55 DEX firmware.

Where can I find a valid link for 4.65.2 dex rebug update, on their site it has links for downloads but they dont work for me also I did check for system update in debug settings but couldn't find it, is it under another name? didn't realise how much of a noob I was until now lmao:embarrassed:

No when I got the ps3 it was already on rebug DEX so I can try contact the person I got it from. I've reinstalled the downgrader a few times just 2 see if it makes any difference when trying to install a CFW but nothing.

can i first ask why you want 4.65.2? iff it is so you can use 2.60 cappi it is still suported to what i beleive is rebugs best firmware...4.75.3

yeah it was so that I could use ccapi 2.60, wish i never downgraded tbh, was unaware the 4.75.3 was compatible with ccapi but thank u unfortunately my laptop will not let me access the scmods.com it just says unavailable so I kinda need just the file if possible

Use another browser and get 4.75.3 DREX as it's very stable at Rebug.me. It should allow you to update then. If the link doesn't work make sure you copied it correctly and if not try another browser. Rebug permits from making mirrors.

maybee drop your net security so you can but ill upload a 4.75.3 dex pup for you and give it to you that way
