I have jailbroken ps3's before but its been a couple years.

Here is what happened.

I took apart the slim console, Installed the e3 flasher and made 3 identical dumps no problem.

I then flashed the patched dump.

Here is where the problem begins:
I installed the rogero downgrader 3.55 and toggled qa
I heard 3 beeps and it went to the xmb. I went to network setting to make sure toggle qa was active.

i the realized i did not install the bluray drive before performing the jailbreak and now if i hookup the bd drive the console shows no picture on the tv.
if i disconnet the bluray drive and power it on a few times the xmb shows again.

what happened here? how can i fix this?

try holding button down till hear another beep, ive never had issue with blu ray after but idk how you could have QA toggled without a bluray unless its cech25XX anyways or you where using no BD firmware but that should't effect display, at worse you would need to remarry drive but that shouldnt be a issue even in that case as i dont put the drive back in till its downgraded myself

Is there any other reason my ps3 shows no video after i install the bd?

shouldn't need to remarry it even so if your getting black screen from a blu ray drive you can't just easily remarry anyways as you need to be in factory service mode. but like i said shouldnt need too

still nothing. i can hold power for first beep and nothing. i can hold power until double beep nothing.

ive tried taking out hdd to boot to no hdd screen but nothing.

should i write my original dumb back to it witht the e3? will this restore it?
what do you suggest I do?

it doesn't sound like a nor problem to me but you can try that, you tried a av cord?

Yes I tried an av cable also.
current rom or just flash back my original dump? and then the original patched dump?

this is exactly my problem except i installed rogero downgrader then the rogero CFW3.55 v3.7 Firmware
here is my problem
looks like good info except the dump your rom part. is it whats on the chip now that i dump and patch and write back or my original dumps.

dvd drive if was working before as long as you didn't damage the rebion cord or drive will be fine. you can try original downgrade flash and swap hdd see what happens but i don't see it being the issue cause to me its unheard of getting black screen from a dvd drive, in my experience its usually that you console is example from a different country and doesn't support your tv in the default resolution which in that case a you use a av cord and hold the button which will work on most tv's, i had to use my sisters tv because mine wouldn't display 480p as my tv only supports pal
