Yeah you should be able to just install 3.55 again just make sure you do it from Storage and NOT online or it'll try to make you update to 4.80

Thanks bro! I know not to have a CD in while doing this also make a folder call PS3 then insside that folder called UPDATE then put in 3.55 in the update folder and label it as, PSUPDAT.PUP

Make sure all folders are named correctly. PS3/UPDATE/PS3UPDAT.PUP and make sure the USB is formatted to FAT32.

Yep I already re-formated to FAT32, and named each folder correctly.
I just got this new HDD from amazon so it can't be the HDD.
