Post: How to play online using a jailbroken ps3 safely?

I just bought a jailbroken PS3 and I'm new to PS3 modding. I've used mods with steam games but never on PS3. I just want to ask how can I play online (using mod menus, particularly on cod games like modern warfare 3 and black ops 2) safely. I know there is always a risk of playing online with mods but what are some things I can do/check to ensure I don't get PSN/online banned.

I use psnpatch and spoof my cfw and it will let you go online without people knowing your on a cfw

Install PSNPatch (Download the pkg file and run it), then open it, then press X (It will do its thing and close). Then go online once you have no homebrew runnng.
The only way to not get banned off PSN (100%) is by not going online.

For Bo2 & MW3 just use an anti ban eboot, those games are older so chances of you getting your console id banned is low, however bo2 still bans accounts (supposedly). Use an anti ban eboot and you will be fine, I haven't been account banned from bo2 in well over a year. Also don't run any homebrew while signed in (psnpatch, multiman, etc) you don't need to use psninja and clear history, or spoof your cid as you are modding on old games.

What is homebrew?
What is eboot and how do I get it?
Lastly, you said don't run psnpatch and multiman. However, the youtube videos I've seen so far run these things first and then go online?

Is there any way to play multiplayer (like play with randoms on cod) without "going online"? Because the sole reason I bought a jailbroken PS3 was to go online. I would like to go into a cod game without getting deranked in 3 minutes.

Things such as multiman, psnpatch, psninja.

No I said don't run them while you are signed into PSN. Only use them when you are signed out.
