Post: Need help finding float for HP with Netcheat

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I've found the souls, just cannot find HP. Wondering if I could get some help.
The game is Dark Souls, BLUS30782 on latest patch 1.09.

Is the range for pointer search going to be the same as before or would it be around 32000000 to 37000000?

Also, doing search for health at 35000000 to 37000000 shows the same address I keep finding but at some point, it'll get removed off the list of results if I select unchanged even if my HP in-game doesn't change at all.
I tried range 32000000 all the way up to 37000000 and it's either the same address or nothing at all.

I can make a video going through the steps I'm going through, if that'd help you understand where I'm going wrong

Try searching for pointers in 30000000 to 40000000 with one dynamic address, restart game, find it again, and replace your old dynamic address with your new dynamic address in the pointer scan, click next scan. You should have a few if not 1 result.

Okay, so find health (which seems to always be 3673BFFC), search for the pointer in range 30000000 to 40000000. Restart game, find the pointer using 3673BFFC and replace with old dynamic address?

let me try again

1. Find dynamic health (initial search)
2. Once found, put that dynamic address into pointer scan and click search
3. Restart game (I mean to XMB and back)(make sure to reconnect netcheats), find dynamic health again
4. Once found, put that dynamic address into the pointer scan (in place of the old dynamic address) and click next scan

If it's always the same address for health, get one pointer search and then delete and make a new character. Im pretty sure that got the address to change if restarting the game doesn't..

Ah, I'll try making a new character then and see if it'll change. I have two characters that get the same address when I find the health.
That made it much clearer for me though. Maybe because I'm using mega mule save is the reason for all the characters having the same address for health.

Okay, making new character doesn't work either. I'll just try deleting save data and try finding it again :/.
Edit, nope, making new save doesn't change the address either. No idea what the hell I'm doing wrong now when scanning for dynamic health.

What is highlighted is the address I always get. Every other result on that list goes away as I keep narrowing it down.

hmm. I mean, im not sure.. Maybe it is a static address? If it's working for you everytime, on every restart then great! but I could have swore it was dynamic.. I dont have the game installed atm to check, but its not impossible for it to be a static address, i guess.

I don't know anything about any special savegames so I wouldn't know there..

Well, the problem is that it's only visual. I'd still die if I locked it.
I tried this with Demon's Souls but this time, it actually works and isn't just visual.

nice

If it's visual you got the wrong address :/

I was going to say, with a lot of health bars in games, there is more than one bar, so if you catch the wrong one then you'll end up with visual and not the actual health.

Keep going dude, youll get it.

Yeah, I'll just go through all the ranges and see if I get anything then. Would the decimal actually be the HP amount in the status menu of DsK1? Like the pic above for the address I kept getting.

Well, the address for Demon's Souls HP wasn't static. It changed, think it was because rebooting and warping to another place.

Alright, gonna spend a few hours trying to do the same for DsK1 now.

BTW, the 1hitkill code doesn't work. It'll show high damage numbers over enemies but hitting them won't insta kill them.

I found health!

This is for Dark Souls, not DeS. Really awesome. The RTM you have lags the game for me but it seems this one doesn't
