Just bring your router in there and say that it disconnects randomly at times for around 5-15 minutes. They should issue you a new router.

This is a longshot, but have you tried changing your DNS on your PS3 to Google's?

An ISP can easily send a refresh signal to the router.

Yes I've tried to change to googles dns still get the error it's a definite ip ban and I can't fix it cause gir won't let me have them come replace router thinks they'll charge for it

I would but it's my girl she complaining about me doing it cause of her parents guess I'll just not be able to play until the ip lease is over and gives a new one

Have you tried the whole command prompt thing?

1. Open Command Prompt
2. Type "ipconfig /release" (without the quotes, on the command line by itself).
3. Shut down computer.
4. Turn off computer.
5. Turn off all ethernet hubs/switches.
6. Turn off cable/DSL modem.
7. Leave off overnight.
8. Turn everything back on.

Hmm. I'm afraid you''re out of luck to be honest. If you can't get the router changed, you won't be able to change your IP.
