I recently updated to the new rebug 4.81 drex and quickly realised I couldn't run fan control utility (which my PS3 vitally needs to stop it from freezing within 2-5 minutes). I cannot downgrade because I need to raise my QA Flag - which i cannot do because its not possible on the firmware i'm on... Anyone know a solution to this?*

Ive tried, I get the error "The update data is not supported on this system." Ive been told i need to toggle qa to make it work... :/

Try and Use The Rebug 999 downgrader

use webman to controll your fan speed

You shouldn't need to QA flag.. You are on DEX so it has already been done..

You could just edit the fan control in Webman on 4.81 and anyway you shouldn't have to increase your fan speed to stop you from freezing. High temps shouldn't cause a console to freeze and if you really need to run it on 100% fan speed you should go back to the person who downgraded it and kick him in his throat for using the cheapest thermal paste on the market.

Ive always wondered why it keeps it from freezing because even when its not using the fan at 100% it doesn't go over a temp of 60 degrees but ive always just went with it... Have you got skype so you can message me on how to change it in webman as im not sure how to keep it consistently fully running
