That's your first mistake. Don't buy PSN games off of PSN Store or download them from someone else. For one, you can put the account at risk by signing into it. Secondly, PSN Downloads have a different region code than normal CD games so you won't be able to use any EBOOTs or mod it at all. I'd recommend finding a torrent online of a BLUS or BLES copy of the game.
