Post: PS3 overheating

(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hey so I'm getting my Dex ps3 today and I was just wondering what can I do to prevent it overheating ? What's the ideal temperature and fan speed that I should set it to ? What homebrew will alllow me to do this?

Also, if I put the fan in my room and make it blow air onto my ps4 from a fair distance will that keep it cool?

I just want to avoid any temperature/YLoD issues!

Thank you Smile

Do a barrel roll!
Let the PS3 take a rest between gaming sessions.
Put it in an open space.
If you get an error saying it's hot but you recently turned it on, go and change the thermal paste.
Clean your PS3 from dust.

I would change the thermal paste to make sure it's good, then u can use webman to regulate the fan speeds, I would have I high, but not too high to make it sound like a jet engine, the safe temps are around 80Deg C
