On my last PS3 I got tired of modding the same games over and over and GTA5 (big surprise), so I tried to install PS3ITA 4.75 DEX from the "Commonly used Custom Firmware" thread. It hard bricked my console.

I want to try out different custom firmware, as I've only ever used Rebug. But I don't want another bricked console.

Also, what do you use?

Honestly REBUG is the best and most stable CFW out there that's why it's so popular. I personally recommend it as i've never had any issues with it

Same with what Jesse said. Im on DEX 4.76 Rebug and never had a problem ever

ive been through rogero which was good for a 1st firmware got bored of it then went to ita had nothing but problems with that one so i went to rebug which is easily the best had no problems with it at all
