(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Has anyone ever heard of the ps3 processor being overloaded? i posted a little while back aboout me playing my ps3 and it just dying the light shuting off without blinking and the ps3 loosing all power source! and the light not coming back on untill i pull power cord and plug back in. It has absolutely nothing to do with the tempature of my console being that it never goes over like 53C is the highest i think i have ever seen it i run the fan at 65% all the time. So after trying to see what could be causing the console to die like that i figured it out i can play any and everygame for hours on end but when i play gta 5 and use mod menu and start doing a lot of commands when it gets to a point where it is to much it just crashes.

It's pretty normal for your ps3 to freeze or crash after modding a lot on gta5..

It is not normal for your ps3 to just shut off and die. It means you have internal damage or a corrupt/incompatible file on your ps3.

its def. from the overload of date from internal hdd i can play any other game on disc for hours i think i may have narrowed it down further to be because im playing it from hdd and not disc im about to check that too

yeah freezing is common. the PS3 is older so it will be running on old and outdated specs, and resource intensive games like GTA5 etc eat at it
