Now, before people try to insult me on using a backup. I do own a cfw ps3, it needs a new mobo due to ylod. (And because I tried to jump the tristate to make the ylod go away. but only fried the board.)
Now, My question is that is there any backup manager that allows you to install extracted pkgs etc but across multiple archive.dat files because the PS3 does split the files if it is larger than 4Gb due to Fat32 have a file limit of 4Gb+1byte.
Example:
archive.dat
archive00.dat
archive02.dat
And so on...
I'm trying to #1 fit a disk backup i made with my cfw before it got ylod onto my hdd as a PSN title but only with the trophy folder, param.sfo , lic.dat, and eboot.bin properly replaced with the correct items. (non-modified items) And #2 If it works, Add all my games to my hdd.
Since I have yet to find a tool to do this yet, I have tried removing game files to keep the archive under 4Gb such as the campaign and whatever else and only have multiplayer but some games are still too large or become corrupt after and refuse to boot.
Could someone help?
