I have a slim that I downgraded with 999. I then installed 3.55 OFW and from then D-REX 4.81.

This is the problem in question,

Rebug tools shows

System: DEX
LV2 DEX

I can connect to PSN no problem and use my Serendipity SPRX menu.

BUT!

Whenever I try to delete syscalls with Webman or patch with PSNPatch the LV2 DEX changes to LV2 CEX and this then stops my SPRX menu from working.

I have the 2 boxes next to CID and PSID ticked in Webman and changed 82 to 87 as before when it was set to 82 I would need to spoof LV2 Kernel to CEX in Rebug toolbox before it would allow me to go online (I had to do this on EVERY startup). I was able to go online before with the SPRX menu. But now I have games installed that I have used ReactPSN to activate so when I changed my LV2 at startup it would inactivate the games.

I tried to change the LV2 setting to CEX then install the games but the still deactivate.

Seems I'm completely stuck here

All I want to do it protect myself online withough the LV2 setting changing from DEX to CEX everytime.

As it sits I have my PS3 working perfectly (besides this issue) all games are activated correctly and the menu works (providing I stay on DEX LV2) but if I go online I'm not protected at all and I will most certainly get banned sharpesh.

I also have a CHCHA00 fat that's doing the exact same thing as the slim. That started of its own accord! That console was on CEX before if my memory serves me correctly and it was converted to DEX then updated to REBUG 4.81.

When running SPRX menu: Do what you did to activate the SPRX menu while spoofing your LV2.

I'd give you an advice that ReactPSN is really buggy and complicated and the activation for some games may not work. I suggest you downloading PlayStation ISOs instead of using Packages to download games like ReactPSN does.

If I do what I did before then GTAV sprx works but no BO menus work
