I tried to install rebug 4.81.2 via usb but every time I get the message that no update data were found and a storage medium must be connected. But my usb is plugged in and is formatted on fat32. I have created a PS3 folder and in this folder an UPDATE folder and in the update folder is the PS3UPDAT.PUP. But it still just does not work. I need help to get them back to jailbreak but i dont know anything about jailbreak i bought it jailbroken but i screwed the hdd. (Excuse me if something is not understandable since I come from germany and write this text with google translator )

Are you on CEX or DEX?

I had rebug on the old hard drive and since I could always switch between CEX and DEX. But last I was on DEX

try and install it in the safe mode

I have tested it in safe mode and normal after start but it always says no usable update data found. But the usb is recognized I see the light on the usb when I connect it

Edit: If I search for valid update data, the light flashes on the usb but the firmware is not found

Shouldn't have done it, just buy a external hard drive next time hope you get it working again.
