(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Hi NGU!

Problem: I wanted to transfer over a file that is over 4GB, which I already know I have to split on a Fat32 USB. However, I wanted to just copy the 4gb+ file over in one go,I can't FTP games over since my PS3 has a fried wifi board and I'm currently running on 4.80 Ferrox No BD firmware.

Solutions that I tried: I formatted my usb to NTFS, and transfer over the 4gb+ file over to my USB, and loaded up multiman 4.81, I then went over to toggle NTFS drives but I didn't see anything change when I went into file manager. I also noticed that my version of Multiman didn't come with USB.CFG file, which I think could be the problem. However, even when I toggled "PTF Drivers" I still have no luck.

As always thanks for everyone who takes there time to help the community.

I'm curious.
What model ps3 do you have?
How have you determined that the wifi board is blown?

CECHG01 model (Fat Model)
I couldn't update from 3.55 for a long time to a cfw due to this error: 8002F1F9

Ik it wasn't a BD problem cause my ps3 can play games from the disc fine, after I updated to 4.80 Ferrox No bd/wifi, I get this error: 80010201.

Ive tried plugging my system into my router through ethernet and nothing, ive tried wireless too, and the green wifi doesnt light up my PS3. I think it has to be my wifi?

Did you successfully QA flag and check for debug settings while on 3.55?

Maybe try to readjust the fat silver ribbon from the wifi board to the motherboard and check for any damages to the gold/silver strips at the end of them?

Im just curious because I have these two ps3s with blown wifi boards, in which case it will give an error upon startup and no bluetooth activity either..
I just find it doubtful that only your wifi portion would get damaged without effecting the bluetooth as well i suppose..

Have you tried webman? I seen it had been updated recently with NTFS support
