(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); Alright so i was in some of the menu chats today and seen alot of people going thru this supposed "IP BAN" ERROR 80711008. I did not believe it was a IP ban so i played around with my playstation 3 for a while.

So in hopes to help, im just gunna give you a list of my settings you could try.

First Make sure you have rebug toolbox installed if you have recently updated or changed CFW
Make sure your CID is set with CCAPI OR WHATEVER

CONNECT TO THE INTERNET AND THEN RESTART PS3


Make sure your NP environment is set to : NP

GO INTO TOOLBOX

GO TO SELECTOR TAB

System mode : REBUG

DEBUG MENU TYPE : DEX

TOGGLE XMB CFW SETTINGS : doesnt matter

IF YOU USE COBRA, TURN ON

ENABLE WEBMAN

GO TO UTILITIES TAB

CHANGE ACTIVE PS3ID : NO

GO TO DEX/CEX TAB

SWAP YOUR LV2 KERNEL

NOW YOU CAN CLOSE REBUG TOOLBOX AND RESTART PS3

NOW TRY TO GO ONLINE AFTER YOU DISABLE YOUR CFW


I know this is BASIC stuff for the modders who have been around for a while but im just trying to be helpful please no hate comments

(If all fails you could try swapping your LV2 kernel in the toolbox again, or changing your ACTIVE PS3ID)

Reinstall CFW if all fails (DO NOT ASK ME HOW AS I WILL NOT TELL YOU, I HOPE YOU HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE OF YOUR OWN)

So it not a router banned

did you fix it? dont think they do router bans, as far as i know its a unconfirmed rumor

Okay i fixed it so can you tell how to acces the gta online

you were the one who couldnt get into gta online with people? get a new UPDATE.RPF or get better internet lol

Change your DNS settings to:

Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 8.8.4.4

This fixed it for my mate
