Just GTA or your PS3 in general?

If it's your PS3, update to the latest rebug (I'd recommend anyway) & try signing in, if you get an error let us know which one.

If just GTA then that will be down to the recent update. You'll need an updated update.rpf and an updated eboot.bin. That should let you go on.

The following user thanked Sparrow for this useful post:

What is the problem with going online? (Signing in, GTA Online, etc.)
Are there any error codes?

Now, to do all of the things that Sparrow mentioned, follow the directions below.

(1) Update you EBOOT.BIN and update.rpf by simply updating your game.
(2) Download Rebug 4.75 You must login or register to view this content. - It is a direct download off of their website, and it's not the newest firmware, but it's what I recommend.

Why recommend an older firmware?

I don't know if CCAPI has been updated or not, but it didn't support anything over 4.75 in the past. I installed Rebug 4.78 DREX before and had to downgrade back to Rebug 4.75 because I couldn't install CCAPI.

If you don't want to use that firmware, then feel free to find the newest one on their website.
