It's not my 3 month old 4k TV it's the ps3/the DB file I was told to put in hdd0/mms here is the link to the guy thread where I got the DB file, it's in the instructions tab You must login or register to view this content.

"9. When that's done you would normally have to go through the process of putting your ps3 into the Recovery Menu and then have to Rebuild Database. Well today i'm releasing a file that automatically reboots your ps3 into Rebuild Database mode. Here it is: https://www.mediafire.com/download/rl...jgdmz0j/db.err"

It's the DB.err file

I just reinstalled the firmware problem is still happening smfh.

Update I wanted to run the RSOD FIX(thought I give it a shot) but when I put it in factory service mode the whole screen becomes jumbled.. took awhile but I managed to get back to the slit jumbled screen

As of right now I've formatted my hard drive and now I'm about to downgrade it back to 3.55 so I can boot the ps3 in safe mode seeing how it does not work when I try... Totally lost here.

----- Update still not working

Heres more pictures to show I'm on 3.55 and that my TV is working fine it's definitely a problem with the ps3[img][/IMG]

Okay last update!! It didn't magically fix itself I forgot I had a back-up DB file from the Ps3 SDK Before I downgrade back to 3.55 I put the back up(DB.self) in hdd0/mms and renamed it DB then installed 3.55 about 5-10 later after installing 3.55 it fixed itself.. to bad I wiped my hard drive and forgot my login info haha hope this helps anyone who runs into this problem and stay away from that guy Tristan's thread it will fuck up your ps3.

Glad you fixed your issue, have any more conflicts later on in the future, feel free to make another thread. Closed.
