So I tried two CIDS. One I bought, but once setting it via CCAPI and even webman , it just said the error code 8002A224. Even after swapping my lv2 to cex.

And the other cid is one of my friends that he hasn't used in 2 days but that also just said "you have been banned from PlayStation network".

I'm on DEX. What can I do to get back online? I even tried spoofing my mC address using xSuperLobbies tutorial but still no luck?

Unlucky the error code usually means Fake CID - message the seller and get an exchange, or refund if possible.

Also look on CC or another site that allows CID sales & hit up someone trusted.

Just got my friend to try the cid that didn't work for me and he said it worked fine for him? We both set it using CCAPI. Whys this happened ?

8002A224 means that your Console ID is invalid. My best suggestion would be to make sure that the Console ID is 32 characters and starts with either five 0's or seven 0's. Also, this can mean that your Console ID is banned. I'd try a public CID and see if it works. If it does, then the other Console ID is banned. If you are on DEX, another fix for this is to make sure that you are selecting in Rebug Toolbox under the Utilities tab Change PS3ID and selecting the CEX one, it is different for people, as it depends on the region."

The CID worked for my friend on his PS3 today since I got him to try it but it doesn't work for my PS3. I get the same error code. Also I always go into rebug and change the PS3ID to cex , so I done that as usual and I still get the same error code. Then I tried spoofing my MAC address using SEN Enabler and I still get the error code.. any ideas? Would really appreciate anyone who can fix it for me. I'm on dex rebug 4.70.

Here's what I've done:
Deleted all users of PS3 and made a fresh account
Changed cid and psid (it's working since my friend tested it)
Changed IP address
Changed PS3ID to cex after turning ps3 on
Spoofed mac using Sen Enabler

Any ideas ?

Do I have to restore my original cid before changing cids or?

its not a MAC ban its a CID ban
