(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); If anyone has no clue who this guy is, well.. He is pretty much the closest person to achieving hacking the PS3. He just released a PS3 exploit about 1 hour ago on his blog.. His name is StreetSkaerFU.

Anyways.. the exploit is called SKFU's Exploit Loader + POC 0.1 AKA.. "Hello World"

From His Blog.

So here is the result of the simple idea. The first code which is 100% PS3 only compatible. No flash, no bd-java or similar. The actual exploit is not finished. This is just the loader you will need and a proof of concept of the methode used to load it.

This is a beta version of the POC as I'm too tired to finish it now but I don't wanna' let you wait so long. Here you go

How 2 Use:
1. Install loader.p3t like a common theme file.
2. Put loadme.fu on an USB stick's root dir.
3. Insert USB device into any PS3 USB port.
4. Enable the theme you just installed before.
5. Hello World.

How It Works:

The PS3 theme file is able to load the loadme.fu script from any USB port. The script is executed. The "loader" is for future-use aswell to load any .fu files which I'll release.

Stay tuned for updates!

2 months from now, you won't be saying that.

Exactly, because this may lead to something great, or may turn out to be a dud. Only time will tell.

Your right because then Sony will have it patched to the point that it will be impossible to upload your own themes. It will be the same as 3.21 when they took away the "Other OS" option

OR this could happen, and completely butt **** the PS3. If we can't upload our own themes because of ONE person it will really piss off BOTH sides of the PS3 community. Those who want to hack and those who don't. Sony will lose a lot of customers.

3.21 only MAJORILY affected those who wanted to hack, those who didn't weren't affected as much (excluding those who were using linux "responsibility" [boo on those pussies right?]), HOWEVER removing custom themes will devastate the PS3.

What is a MORE LIKELY thing to happen, is that Sony finds out how the exloit works, and patches it in another method that allows us to keep custom themes.

Wait, what exactly does this do? From my standpoint, like Adkins said, it just says Hello World...

sony are way to insecure and will have this patched in no time just like the Other OS which someone else posted, they see that someone has come so close to hacking it so they make that there top priority and quickly patch it

I agree 100% They would not dare remove another function such as customs themes after the uproar they had over Other OS... They will just look at how it works and patch it that way... but look at the Chicken hen for the PSP it kinda works the same way and they still have not patched that...

Just don't upgrade your firmware lol... Just like your PSP. If you wanna log on PSN and shit, just purchase 2 PS3's like I did.. no big deal Smile

overall, We won't miss another gaming experience due to the high gaming cost. $60 is way to much for a video game.

Yeah Im going to buy a slim pretty soon, this way game on my 60 GB with 250 GB hdd upgrade. Then buy a slim upgrade the hdd to 500 GB or 1 TB if I can find one that fits and use it for this hack.

This way I have more then enough space if theres .iso hack sometime load it on my slim and such. I can only see great things for this hack but Sony has a deep passion of hating hackers, they replaced the PSPs with one that is almost impossible to hack. But its a double edge sword, let people be able to hack their consoles and get sued by game companies left and right or patch it and not sell a ton of units.
