So I tryed the DNS server method - still asks me to update. Tried ps3proxy.exe and it still asks me to update. I assume they have patched the PSN so that these methods no longer work. Any one else having same problems as me? :/

Now we need someone to step up their game and work out how to fake firmware so that sony think its 3.42.

Isn't there a way to change the version number to 3.42 with the ftp client?

really i should try as i was on earlier but havent been on for a while, if its is patched for now there will be an update from the jailbreakers

Yeah, cos the 'normal' one (the one which everyone posts) doesn't work anymore... Does anyone know why it suddenly stopped working?

I'm pretty sure the DNS servers are easy to make. Just have somebody make a new once
