Just started up my PS3 after coming home. Try bypassing with Logan5's Tool - doesnt work (still asks me to update to new FW). So I tryed the DNS server method - still asks me to update. Tried ps3proxy.exe and it still asks me to update. I assume they have patched the PSN so that these methods no longer work. Any one else having same problems as me? :/
Now the cat and mouse games between Sony and us begin lol... Best thing to do is wait I think, the official PSJB has announced an update in orderto counter the new patch.

I completely agree Ix Benere xI.
I'm gonna wait 2 - 3 weeks (if I can resist the annoying addiction of CoD ) and if there is still no sign of any advancement in using JB with 3.42, I shall buy another PS3 and update the one with highest Firmware.
OH GOOD I am not the only one that cant do the bypassing. WE NEED HELP!...We need a new way to bypass. This is rediculous!...I made sure the games work and they do so as long as games still are able to be played I will never update to this 3.42.
Ya I am just getting to know c++ programing so I am hoping I can figure out what to do but I don't exactly get what to do... I am pretty sure I have to give the ps3 something that says it has been updated and block the update via blocking sonys link to update.
But I don't have the slightest idea of where to start. I don't know how the ps3 checks if it is up to date. It must check via internet so I could block that too so that it recieves no return and will just let me go online.
