So I tryed the DNS server method - still asks me to update. Tried ps3proxy.exe and it still asks me to update. I assume they have patched the PSN so that these methods no longer work. Any one else having same problems as me? :/

Thats the DNS server method. And it's been patched. I expect you won't be able to sign in pretty soon:n:
