(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); I AM NOT SURE IF ALL THESE STEPS IF ANY ARE REQUIRED PLEASE EXPERIMENT. BUT THIS WORKED FINE FOR ME
Prerequisites
A PKG file
A Hex editor
You must login or register to view this content.
FTP server on PS3
FTP client on PC

Firstly create a new folder and call it a name with 8 numbers in it, I did "00000006" (unsure if you can put any numbers in)
Then put the 3 files that you downloaded and the PKG file
You must login or register to view this content.

Open D0 in your favourite Hex editor

You must login or register to view this content.

Save it and open D1
You must login or register to view this content.

Save both of them and close the Hex editor

You must login or register to view this content.

Your PKG file should be on your HDD ready to install

It does just installed something but I think it only works on stand alone stuff because my add on didn' t work cause I don' t know where the game reads the dlc

None of us should have to do this, this is totally optional, and this is twice as hard. Nice to have tutorials though so I give you credit for that. But that is all.

my point excatly, if we can't get these pkg files working on our ps3s there is no point in doing this at all, waste of time, most of the pkg files need a psn ID to work with that user or they will not load properly.

to install pkg's go to the apps folder with your usb and install

apps folder? some more info on this just copy paste .pkg on a usb and it works?

Well first off I know most of the games being played from backup manager aren't even compatible with add-ons that were purchased, so I don't get what you're saying. This tutorial is showing how to add demos, trying an add-on is what I'd imagine a little different.

woudnt it work if i just renamed my package to

and use 00000005 as my folder name :confused:

yeah that would work but I think you still need to change the install folder

i tried on pes 2011 demo no success anybody else have any idea how to make it work
