Well first off I know most of the games being played from backup manager aren't even compatible with add-ons that were purchased, so I don't get what you're saying. This tutorial is showing how to add demos, trying an add-on is what I'd imagine a little different.
i am talking about
PSN games, it has been a tried and tested bat and ball game, no one has successfully been able to install these type of pkg files! that goes for
DLC aswell, on top of that most stuff released on the store won't work by just installing it this way, you need to
attach it to your account first via your PSN ID so it will work on your ps3, comprende?
you do realise when you download something of the PSN store it says "activating"
because it is tying the content to your PSN account,
trying to install these pkg files any other way will not work.
