If you update you cannot edit/change the patch on that ps3.

yeah i think im going to save some $$ buy a older ps3 update 2 3.41 USB do the jb etc and do the data transfer so if i wanna try another patch i can just do that

Is the Firmware kept on the HDD? If it is then that should work but I'm not sure never tried it and probably won't.

Only way so far I have found to lower the Firmware is to replace the EEPROM (FLASH) that is storing the Firmware itself, that does work. The fusable resistors used to control the write lines to the prom are burnt open after 3.21 Firmware update.

I'll make a video of proof probably this week or next week (depending on when I have time) but Team L33T's modified Backup-Manager works perfectly on my 3.50.

Thats just not true. How could backup manager work without... A) the psjailbreak as this runs the unsigned applications and.. B) without an updated version of PSgroove which could be the only logical reason for this to even be viable.

Well, I have exactly NO IDEA but once installed it signs me out...so if I can't find a bypass to let me sign in while keeping the Backup-Manager then yeah...I might buy a new PS3 and just stay on 3.41

Yeah they are FAKE. Just wait though they will come out with it eventually...
