For a few days i updatet my ps3 to fw 3.50 to play online. yesterday i found smething that calls ps jailbreak. i searched at the forum and thinks that this really works but not on FW 3.50 !! is there a way to make the ps3 compatible with the jailbreak? i have an ipod touch first gen (jailbroken) can i jailbreak my ps3 with ipod touch??

it only works on FW 3.41 not on 3.50 but i think they will find a way to make it work

I just want to throw something out there, I have a ps3 v. 3.50 that is jailbroken but I was not able to do it directly. I have another ps3 that I jailbroke with my iphone and then used utility data tranfer on the updated one. Worked like a charm. So now I can host hacked lobbies on ps3. Btw I am a total noob at this stuff but I was able to figure all this in one night. So if i can do it, you guys sure can also.

That's where you're wrong, the hack is unique and gives you such a high access to the HDD. We shouldn't be looking at how to get the PSJB to work on the new Firmwares, we should be looking on how to get online without updating.
