For a few days i updatet my ps3 to fw 3.50 to play online. yesterday i found smething that calls ps jailbreak. i searched at the forum and thinks that this really works but not on FW 3.50 !! is there a way to make the ps3 compatible with the jailbreak? i have an ipod touch first gen (jailbroken) can i jailbreak my ps3 with ipod touch??
pls answerme in english or german

ok now my bros ps3 is like v 1.10 (not literally) so if i download v3.41 from the internet the put it on a usb put it on my bros ps3 jailbroke that then did utility data transfer to my v3.50 would it work?

Sorry I have been having bugs with the jailbreak on the 3.50. When i did use utility data transfer for my jb ps3 to my non jb ps3 3.50, it some how glitched to work fine a month later it doesn't work. Still messing around with it but not seriously because the new jailbreak is coming out this week.

You can host hacked lobbies and such as i do the same thing. But it's not possible to Jailbreak the Ps3 with 3.50. The only way you made a hacked lobby was if you used a Ps3 with Firmware 3.41 and Jailbroke. Then You can FTP Into it a play around with the Patch_mp.ff file and make a hacked lobby. The update to play online. But you can't FTP into your Ps3 on 3.42 or Later. Yet

Acctually it will let you do it. If your Ps3 Is 3.41 and your doing a Data Transfer Utility to a Ps3 with 3.50 it will let you do it. But it won't be Jailbroken. As the Jailbreak has to be redone everytime your Ps3 is Restarted. Also The Utility Data Transfer won't transfer the few bytes that the Jailbreak Uses anyways because it's not saved onto the HDD on the CPU which gives your Read/Write Access Etc... Thats why when the Ps3 is Restarted, It boots back to normal.
