Between the rumours which claim that Sony set up stamped versions 3.41 which
3.42 are concealed in fact almost everywhere on internet and the uncertain links
on which we can hang we are never sure of anything now.
PS3UPDAT.PUP Version can seem useless but that finds all its utility before
the update of its PS3 to use a dongle and so avoid any unpleasant surprise...

Say if your on a firmware under 3.41 and you want to update. But your not sure if its the right one.. With this program you can check what version it is.. Supposly Sony Fakes the version? I Dont kNow...

that would suck if you THOUGHT you downloaded 3.41 then put it on the ps3 and it was 3.42!!!! I WOULD KILL MYSELF!!!!
