So, if you haven't guessed already this means anyone jailbreaking can get map packs for games without connecting to Playstation Network.
For this we need people with an updated PS3 to download their map packs and proxy it to their computer and then upload to mediafire or somewhere. I think what he's asking is won't we need to have the uploader of the map pack activated on our account to use it. This is true on some games we're going to have to try it to find.

BUT posting the map pack would be illegal so if you going to do it keep it off the forum because its aginst the rules and you will be banned!

i tested this last night i tried installing psn games and psn dlc's and both failed to work.

I think your Playstation 3 info is inside every pkg file you download

this wont work. the pkgs need to be debug, yes it will install but it also needs a license ( ur psn account activated on the pkg ) debug pkgs dont need a license

Does it contain your account detail... or does it just need someone that is activated on your ps3 that has the map pack.. if that makes sense??

could anybody Send me a link or a tutorial on how to install retail pkg on my jailbrocken ps3 as i have the WAW map packs on my pc but i dont know how to install them

Will they still work if I jailbreak , put them on, and update to 3.50 again?
