I hosted challenge lobbies for fun and was very happy helping out my fellow NGU members. Now with this block on the DNS workaround or bypass, It seems Sony is trying real hard to fill holes that people have found. Is this due to the upcoming release of Blackops? Is backing up my game that I payed for to my own hard drive so that I can play it the way I want to play it hurting anyone? I would like to hear some feedback about this. :wtf:

I dont think backing up the games is harming anyone tbh if you really wanted to some of your older games is back them up then trade them in for some exta cash towards black ops maybe if i could back up my games i could :y: obviously sony are going to want to stop any kid of bypass and hacking but people find away around all of this

Yeah, its not because of people like you who just back-up their own games, its because sony believes that everyone will try to put them online and stuff and Sony are cash whores so

I understand the cash whore aspect of it, look at EA. If you buy BF:BC2 or MOH you have to enter a code to gain online access. If you purchase a game second hand they charge $10.00 to unlock stuff that the original owner got when he bought the game. Some sort of balance has to be made so that us the consumers can be able to protect our merchandise from damage. Idk maybe its just the principle of the matter that has me feeling this way...

I dont think sony will ever release another patch for mw2 because their main priority is blackops. If you look in the news of the day on Cod 4 it says "check out the new mw2 gameplay trailer".. They will simply abondon mw2 like they abandoned Cod4

I figured that would happen eventually, but I still play CoD4 and I will continue to play MW2 once BlackOps comes out. I think I will put it on the shelf if and when a MW3 is released.

It's because someone can just borrow a game and make a backup of it then he basically got it for free and they just lost $60. That's wat I do with my cousin. I'll buy a game for $60 and well both back it up and bring it back. They lose $120.

Over a month has past since BlackOps was released and I still play MW2...lol. And I am not alone.:hitman:
