Thanks to developer Xoeo, who developed this PSGroove PSN Payload, we can now play games online and access the PSN store on firmware 3.41 and 3.15 by

using the .hex files below.

You now have a choice of either PL3 payloads or Hermes v4b payloads and it has been broken down into separate sections. Enjoy.

Before you add another payload if you're even going to do that (It comes with a few already), you must first run iPhodroid at least once. It will then create the psfreedom folder.

I used iPhonebrowser.

you can go to their website now for the new firmware update.
they just loaded this after many people complaints on how they were taking to long for the new update.

so what do you do? download file then???

where i drop the file? in psjailbreak?in some folder on ps3?

Then how u do it

First off, I already had iPhodroid installed since it first surfaced with PS3 jailbreak capabilities. So I did the following:

Step one:

Download the file that works for you, either iPhone or iPod.

Step two:

Download the selected file.

Step three:

Replacing the images from the first download in /private/var. Do this for both files.(I used iPhoneBrowser)

Step four:

Run iPhodroid from your iPhone/iPod at least once so it can automatically create a file called psfreedom that you will be using in the next step.

Step five:

Upload the payload from the second download in /var/psfreedom/payloads/<FW>. My PS3's Firmware is 3.41 so that's what I used. Just drag and drop. (Again, I used iPhoneBrowser)
