(adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({}); i will be working on editing the fallout new vegas meshes and textures which you curently cant edit these files then put them on the ps3 i will post back my progress if anyone wants to help feel free i will put a tut on how to do it when im finished.

The Fallout 3 BSA files are the same as used in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. Preliminary work indicates that they are version 68 rather than version 67.
To open them with BSA Commander (Also see below) you have to do the following:

Backup the original .bsa file
Open the file in a hex editor
Change byte 5 from 68 to 67
Save
Open in BSA Commander and extract the files

idk if this will help im going to try this and a few other things..... got this from here if anyone wants to know You must login or register to view this content.

Custom textures is not hard... Copy over the UPDATE, then make a folder in the data/images folder ex. mymod123... Then place your modified images in there data/images/mymod123 then in the editor switch the textures to your custom ones. Copy over the UPDATE and your mymod123 folder back over to your ps3. make sure that the mymod123 folder is in the data/images folder on your ps3. Smile I will have a HD PVR this Christmas, so I will show all of my modded games for ps3 including F3 and F:NV.

i will try some time this week if i can figure out what your saying this would make it much easier but you forgot one part once you do this you have to edit the .ini or it wont load it its just like the computer when modmanger does it it over writes the file for you to what you put into the game as say your gun texture mod. other then that it sound much easier

Ahh yes I forgot that part lol my bad. Let me know if you get it, as it is a much easier way of doing mods.

Can someone with the PC version upload the UPDATE.ESP so those of us with only the PS3 version can try Yixless's method.
