U Can see what SONY Are using in their Firmware Updates. Also the CORE_OS_PACKAGE.pkg is in this .RAR file

Considering the PSdowngrade allows special firmware to be installed, I think this could be modified into a special CFW, seems quite plausible

You do realize the PSDowngrade can do what pandora's battery did for the PSP, except for the PS3, so in theory I should be able to unbrick it

so your telling me that you will be able to unbrick ps3's using a tool needing the ps3 too boot up yet bricking makes the ps3 do nothing so i dont see how that will work out ''/

Pandora's battery boots into PSP service mode, it can fix corrupt firmwares, unbrick, and downgrade a psp, the PSdowngrade goes into PS3 Service mode, I may be wrong to an extent, but I'll look into it later on, if you just use the USB firmware loader it's temporary, so you could test that way
