No because back ups are ps3 specific. Whatever ps3 you back it up on, it will only work on that ps3.

If you're trying to transfer the patch then do the transfer data utility.

Anyways, i have 2 ps3's, but i dont want to lose all the data on either of them, how can i avoid this?
